South Park is a cancelled Geo Animation Studios film based on the animated television series South Park, created by Matt Stone and Trey Parker. It would have been the reboot to South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.

Plot[]

"What happens when the last remaining 4 boys on the planet are forced together by science to save the species, and they can't stand each other? That's the problem facing Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny, heroes of "South Park," the Geo Animation Studios film by seven-time Academy Award® winner for sound Chris Jones, and producer of Greenuts. Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny embark on a perilous, unpredictable adventure and discover that finding a mate never goes as planned, even when you only have one choice. Love, it turns out, is not a science."

Production[]

In May 15, 2009, Paramount Pictures and Geo Animation Studios are adapting a reboot to South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut simply titled South Park, but later it was cancelled due to strong language, inflation, blood, gore, nudity and violence, aside from the fact that it's racist.

Trivia[]

  • Two films with plots similar to South Park have been released - South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut - which is made by Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures, and Coraline, a film by industry newcomer Laika. The similar plots in both these films could be a reason why South Park was canceled. Jake Sharratt admitted there was a plot resemblance of 2 South Park films.
